I use Foundry Native American Flesh. Not all three shades, that would be a bit OTT. I just use the 120B as basecoat and 120C to highlight

Through the travail of the ages Midst the pomp and toil of war Have I fought and strove and perished Countless times upon this star.
So as through a glass and darkly The age long strife I see Where I fought in many guises, Many names but always me.
So forever in the future Shall I battle as of yore, Dying to be born a fighter But to die again once more.

Hello John!

I had to look at mine as I painted them about 7 years ago. For the ones wearing shirts I painted them in various shades of blue, grey and red. I painted all the ones wearing blankets or bear skins all dark brown as I couldn't confirm exactly what is was. All the pants were painted a light tan to look like buckskin. I just used a normal flesh colour. I finished them off with a light ink wash that darkend the flesh slightly and gave some the illusion of wearing some war paint! Gave them all black hair and any with feathers I painted them white. All belts were painted black.

I plan to paint another couple hundred next year and don't think I'll change a thing.

Best regards,

Glenn

I assumed the original question related to skin tone rather than clothing!!!

No, both skin and clothes.  But your advice is very welcome!
